Scott Tanner: President and Chief Financial Officer

Scott came to Winder Farms as Chief Financial Officer in October 2008, and was appointed President in January 2011. Before joining Winder Farms, Scott served as the CEO of Juice-It, a wholesale distributor of healthier alternative fountain drinks, where he helped the newly recapitalized company double sales and bring the business back to profitability. Scott was the Founder and President of 1-800-GOPHERS, which was formed to provide housekeeping, home delivery dry cleaning, and concierge and errand services for individuals and businesses. Scott spent five years as COO and CFO of 1-800 CONTACTS-the world's largest direct marketer and distributor of contact lenses-a company which he helped take public. While at 1-800 CONTACTS the company grew from just over $20 million to about $200 million in sales. Prior to 1-800 CONTACTS Scott did turnaround work as CFO of Clover Club Foods, a $100 million Utah-based manufacturer and distributor of salty snack foods in 16 western states. Scott also spent seven years as a senior manager at Apple Computer, doing pricing and strategic investments, and earned a CPA while working at the big eight accounting firm Peat, Marwick & Mitchell (now KPMG).

Scott earned a Bachelor's Degree in English and Economics from Stanford University and a Master's in Business Administration at Harvard Business School.

Scott has served as Vice Chair of Junior Achievement of Utah and the Discovery Gateway (Utah's hands-on children's museum), and currently still serves on both Boards. Scott has also been active working with other youth programs, serving twice as Scoutmaster and numerous other times as a adult leader of youth. Scott has coached all six of his children in softball and baseball. He loves theater, singing, and reading a good book.

Kent Winder: Vice President of Customer Service

Kent is a fifth generation family member to be involved in the business. He was president at the time the investment with Dolphin II and Peterson Partners was made in 2004. Prior, Kent served as Executive VP from 1982-2004, and previously worked as route sales manager in the Winder plant/bakery and on the farm.

Kent's experience on the farm helped him realize the importance of pampering the cows. Give them the right kind of feed, space to graze, no drugs, and they will return a healthy product that is utterly good (and that's no bull!)

Active in the community, Kent has served as a Taylorsville City Councilman, chairman of Chamber West Chamber of Commerce, a member of the West Valley City Cultural Arts Board, and as chairman of the board of trustees for Pioneer Valley Hospital.

Kent attended both the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
